I started a Facebook page for LOCAL last year. It's grown to over 200 "Likes". That's 200 people who know of us, know our message and who can receive our announcements. Today we have 210 "Likes".
I "Liked" several progun groups' Facebook pages as well. For instance, the La Sportsman Facebook page.
This allows me to post our annoucements to their pages.
I also "Liked" several news organizations and can make comments on news announcements such as this one on the Facebook page for the Baton rouge Advocate newspaper.
There's also the WBRZ Facebook page.
Short, concise posts such as "Be Safe and know your rights" are basically what you will see under the LOCAL FB comments.
Thousands of people from all walks of life subscribe to these different Facebook pages. When reading the comments they see our name and can click on it to go to our page and learn more about LOCAL.
There are all sorts of ways to spread the word about Open Carry. Think what you can do. Help spread the word.
