    Dinner at PT's

After a long wait, it's about time we get out and get something to eat. And what better place than PT's pub.

    When: Feb 18th at 6pm
    Where: 5355 South Decatur Boulevard
    Las Vegas, NV 89118

I'll make it a point to let the bartender know where we will be setting. That way when everyone comes in he/she will point you in the right direction.

I know everyone's been itching for another meet up. With 2 weeks notice I think we can get a pretty large turn out.

I finally was able to arrange my schedule to make another get together. Anyone up for an OC stroll down the strip or Fremont after dinner?

I ahven't been to PT's in ages. Is the restaurant a separate part from the Bar? I ask because I am hoping to make it, but it is much more likely if I can have my 9yr old son in tow. Fine for restaurant, not so appropriate for a bar..

    No, he's not carrying (yet).

This one has seating in an area awayish from the bar, but no physical seperation.

I have had my family in PT's seveal times with no problem. In fact, depending on getting a babysitter, I may bring mine along.

You may want to call. I know about 11-12 years ago no minors where allowed.

I confirmed with the VP of operations that all of their taverns are "21" and older, your mileage may vary but this location in specific does not have a separate closed off section for dinning.

Oh well. That's a shame. After listening to the radio bit today, he was excited about going. I guess he'll have to wait until next time to meet the celebs.

Yes, but are all your family members 21+?

There seems to be a divergence between PT's policy and PT's practice.

You say your family with underage child (here I'm reasoning that you don't get a babysitter for your 21 year old) gets in no problem, but another contributor here says the VP states only age 21+ are allowed in PT's. I called the PT's location in question myself and was told that all PT's are age 21 and older.

What to do? What to do? Bring my 13 y/o with me and take a risk on the loose practice you have experienced; or, bring him and take a chance that they'd be policy wonks tonight and deny him entry?

My boy is all for sending us on our way without him. He said, "Bye, have a great time." But, I suspect his seeming unselfishness has an underlying ulterior motive: he will have the computer and its games all to himself for a few hours.

P.S. , I could bring my son and hope that when he presents his ID showing age 13 he gets a dyslexic card checker, who thinks he sees age 31.

I was at this PT's a few months ago but before that, I had never gone. There is a PT's only 2 blocks south near Patrick and was waiting there on my friends until they called me from the one that WE WILL MEET at on Decatur just south of Hacienda. Here's hoping there's no confusion later.

I'm not gonna push the kid thing. If that's their policy, I respect that. My agenda is about open carry of FIREARMS, not kids.
