I know this is a bit boring for most of us, but this is a chance to steer policy instead of react to it. The Bureau of Land Management is looking to fill some advisor spots on their council. They're looking for a wide range of backgrounds, including just a member of the dirt-kicking up public. Here's the application form, and it's a simple one really; in fact, it's so simple I'm going to apply for one. Now's the time to advise the BLM about gun issues on federal land....and other issues too. This is like a back seat drivers license if you remember the term
