Unfortunately, I will be out of town while you are here. But I look forward to hearing about it, and that you'll have some good experiences to take back to Kalifornia!

...nlv...

Unfortunately, this is where you will most likely be illegally hassled. Know your rights!

Key phrase: "Why am I being detained?"
+2 on the voice recorder. You do not need to notify that you are recording.

It is not likely to have any bearing. After all, it is perfectly legal long before they stopped and detained you long enough to know you are active duty military, and they will know that it gives you no rights in this regard. I can't say I hear a LOT of hassles in NLV, but I've never heard of any good experiences. They are taking a very long time to come around to obeying state law on the matter. Others who live in that city or frequent it far more often than I do can be a lot more help.

Though the chance of a LEO encounter is higher, I would say the likely hood is slim. We have had some OC carrying get togethers in the past few years where we walked as a group down both the strip and the Fremont Experience with no issues. The LEOs are aware of the possibility of OCers on the strip and Fremont. However, as for casions you will not be breaking the law but most do not allow firearms and most casinos have a fairly large and high tech security force. you may be asked to leave if open carrying into a casino.

Is there anything I need to have with me while I oc I know I have 60 days to register if I'm going to be there more then that. So blue card is not an issue.

Just a legally owned firearm and of course ID. I live just outside of Las Vegas and not in Clark County, I as you a non-Clark county resident do not have a blue card. So yes, for the non-Clark county residents a blue card is not an issue.

No ID required unless you are performing a licensed activity such as driving or carrying concealed (with recognized permit also).

Open carrying is not a licensed activity.

want to meet Metro? OC on the strip.

The sheeple are nervous.

That is true . The people there will soon learn and be comfortable with law abiding citizens who open carry when they continuing seeing people who is openly armed following the law not hurting anybody. It just going to take time for people to understand that gun don't kill people.
the metro know the laws some cops dont understand that they are not the law they are the enforcer of law. So we will have to inform and educate them on that.

Well that isis just my opinion. Let me know if I'm wrong thanks

If you are just walking down the strip "rocking your Glock" or whatever you should have no problems whatsoever. That has been handled. But can use a good tune up from time to time so if that is your intention, let us know and we can join you.
