    Newport, ky

Does anyone know if Newport is very OC friendly? Most of my issues I've had have been in northern Kentucky, so I'm expecting they aren't. I was just wondering if anyone had had any issues there.

All kentucky gun laws are the same, so it wouldn't bother me to OC anywhere in KY. Every time I have had any dealings with any LEO I made it clear that I knew the law and it wasn't their job to enforce peoples opinions. They usually say something to the point "It worries some people to have people walking around with guns." and I reply that their irrational fears aren't my problem.

As for private business owners, most don't even notice your firearm and most of the rest won't ever say anything to you for carrying. There is only a few business owners that would ask you to leave/leave your firearm in your vehicle.

I'll carry anywhere. I was carrying when I got to "game works" and was asked to leave my firearm in my vehicle it simply conceal it because they had several complaints from concerned guests. I talked to the manager when I walked in because he noticed my firearm and wasn't asked to do something with my gun until a few hours later by the same manager.
And as for no one seeing it, it's in a tactical leg drop holster. So it's extremely noticeable lol

That is very noticeable and I take back what I said about no one noticing it. When they are actually getting a complaint is one thing, but I really dislike when they ask me to leave/leave me gun in my truck for "other customers safety" without a complaint. Like I was doing anything dangerous just by carrying. I don't see any business owner prohibiting moving vehicles on their property for "other customers safety".

I didn't have too much an issue. He told me that the owner of "Newport on the levee" prohibits oc but allows cc. He then told me I could take it to my car or conceal it. Or just keep it in the holster if id like? Why even say something to someone if youre going to tell them it's still ok to carry? LOL
