    Denial by association.

    Husband has pending charges. Wife wants a permit. Board of Selectmen wants her husband to resign his seat as vice chairman of the Board of Finance. So they hold it against her by denying her permit.

    There are some comments on's article regarding this. Hopefully BFPE will force their hand on this issue. Not sure if the First Selectman will face any repurcussions but that is crazy. Good post, I was thinking about starting this thread!

    She should indeed file her appeal.

    The best part about this, she wins her appeal and the first selectman has to give her the temp permit, LOL.

    Sad play on politics indeed.

    Rich B: My favorite argument against OC being legal in CT is "I have never seen someone OC in CT".
    I have never seen a person drink tea from a coke bottle while standing on their head, that doesn't mean it is illegal.
