Is there a list of companies that do and don't allow Open carry and also Concealed carry. I know that our local Wal-Marts allows and Starbucks allows, just wondered if stores like JC Penny, Sears, Pizza Huts , Break Time , Caseys you know the big chain stores do or don't.

If the bigbox stores are anchor tenants at a mall; the mall common area maybe prohibited, but the store may not be. Example, Battlefield Mall in Springfield prohibits CC in the general areas, posted at all the entrances for the common areas; however, none of the bigbox stores entrances are posted. So, in the store, you may be ok, but out in the common areas, it could be prohibited.

There is a web site with some places listed as non-participators to the 2A...for the life of me I can't recall this site. I have it bookmarked on my home computer, but not at work. Sorry!

Here's one I've heard about, but I've personally never used it: (I think it was created by someone here at OCDO.)

Generally, If they have no sign posted, they don't prohibit firearms. I'll OC into any place without a sign until they ask me to leave.

corporate sites in Missouri that allow open or concealed carry

Thanks everyone for the input. I tried both sites and the Missouri list looked outdated and the Frind/Foe list I could never get anything to come up. Would really like to know if the stores in the Columbia Mall allow open carry. went to Barnes and Nobel and didn't see any signs and the same for the cafe court doors . Did I miss them or are they posted

I think there are several out of date items on the Missouri Carry list (for example, I think all the Schnuck's stores took down their posting) and a few places that I would be surprised if they are posted still (Buchheit's is one however, that location is the only one I have not been in but they just got an FFL and the corporate officers I know are not anti's so I would be surprised if it is still posted and would expect that any posting was a local manager deal rather than corporate policy) and a few if they are posted I totally missed it. However, since none are local to me I am disinclined to verify.

JC Penney, Pizza Hut and Sears do not post state wide as none of them are posted here (well I haven't been to Pizza Hut in a while but it wasn't posted even when posting was more common soon after passage of CC). Costco does not allow carry and apparently only informs you through fine print on their website about "club" rules.

The Friend/Foe list only helps you out if people in your area post their experiences to it. It is very much so community based. I would like to see it automatically red-list any business that is publicly anti-firearm.

coporate companies

Yeah I wish there was a way that these things could be updated on a regular basis. would make things a whole lot simpler then walking into a business and then being asked to leave.

The friendorfoe website (which was developed by an OCDO member) can be updated by anyone any time. We just have to use it. I need to post some places on there myself.

that's true, but when I tried bringing it up it didn't list anything for Columbia, MO. or Moberly, MO. Cool, wish more places were like that.
