Nobody is going goo goo gaa gaa over Israeli gun laws.

Only the fact that they are smart enough to arm school staff to prevent and stop school attacks and that has worked fairly well for the.

Israeli gun laws "suck" for lack of a better word. They do arm some school staff which is a good thing, but other than that they have some oppressive laws compared to the United States and the free states within.

Israel only arms staff at schools in certain locations deemed "at risk" for PLO attacks. Also Israel had mandatory service and nearly all military personell recieve infantry training. those teachers armed with machine guns in Israel are/were trained soldiers in one of the deadliest and most professional military fighting forces on the planet.

Hardly a comparison to the liberals arts majors who inhabit our teaching ranks.

This argument over Israel actually plays into the anti argument that only soldiers and cops should have guns, since all these teachers and stuff are most likely soldiers...
