Another break down of the 'open carry is bad' echo chamber

After reading 'NRA instructors' who want to tell the public that open carry means that the police have the right to harass you and that open carrying is just asking for trouble, I had to add some reality to the misinformation being spread.

Cite to Authority should be a universal rule not just on forums but in life.

90% of that thread was the same old tired "if you open carry people will panic" nonsense every state has heard no matter how much OCing is happening and no matter how many times it simply does not happen.
