..and maybe ignorant sheep will believe you.

I love Calderon's statement: "The best way to do this is to stop the flow of automatic weapons into Mexico." Absolutely true. But will putting up a billboard ont he U.S. border actually help?

Of course not. He's counting on ignorant media and ignorant citizens to assume that all those "automatic" weapons are coming from U.S. gun shops. He's hoping nobody will ask how difficult it is to purchase an "automatic" weapon here. He's betting nobody will point out that the international arms trade and his own corrupt army and police are probably the main sources of these "automatic" weapons.

I noticed the article didn't say where all those recently-destroyed weapons came from.

Really, he has two choices... Blame the freedoms of the US for Mexico's problems or admit that most of Mexico's problems are rooted in the systemic corruption that is generationally ingrained in its government and public institutions at all levels. With willing patsies and collaboraters in our federal government and MSM, this really is a no-brainer for him. Without the willingness of our MSM and own gov't this line of attack would go nowhere and the fact that most of the weapons are coming from international arms dealers, despot run nations south of Mexico and from defectors in their own military and gov't would be generally known by all Americans even casually following the news.

So, while Calderon's preverications may be upsetting, we need look no further than our own backyards, so to speak, to find the accomplices whithout whom Calderon's proclemations about the US would be a laughingstock.

It's funny, the level of cognative dissonance the average sheeple are capable of maintaining in their well-washed brains...

Most people think that OC isn't legal. Most people think that Concealed Carry permits are rare and hard to get in most states. Most people think that women don't get CC permits or have any interest in carry at all.

And yet, those same people who don't think it's legal to carry, or that there aren't MILLIONS of people in the US who carry every day, seem to ALSO believe that you can walk into a gun shop and walk out the SAME DAY with a full-auto machine gun...

The brainwashing has been very successful. Charlotte Iserbyt was right.

The movie "Idiocracy" wasn't a fictional comedy of the distant future, it was a dire prophecy of the immediate future...

We should erect a billboard that faces Mexico that says "NO MORE DRUGS" and make it out of the bodies of captured drug dealers.

Why do that? Mexicans don't actually run the American drug trade. Your buddies on capitol hill do.

again i will say, "WHY IN THE HELL WOULD MEXICANS COME TO AMERICA TO BUY AUTOMATICS, when they have all they want in their own country". all they have to do is line up a boat from s. America or china to have a boat load of weapons.

And therein lies the rub.

From my research, there hasn't been a SINGLE automatic weapon that was actually purchased in the US taken to Mexico.

The few American-made M-16s recovered at crime scenes by US or Mexican officials have been traced to Nicaraguan, El Salvadoran, and Vietnamese sources, and were sold LEGALLY (well, except for that whoe Iran-Contra thing, which was just one big treasonous felony-fest) to those governments (or "freedom fighters"). The GOVERNMENTS of those nations are making the illegal sales to Mexico--NOT gun dealers in the USA.

Even the M-16's being sold to the Mexican Drug Lords by the Contras were not traceable to the US with certainty, because the CIA had them manufactured by a front company they set up in Florida WITHOUT SERIAL NUMBERS, so they couldn't be traced back to the US...

I thought all the guns in Mexico were supplied by F&F.

I assume you are joking, right?

But in case you are not, it has been determined that fewer than 18% of the guns that are actually traceable, were traceable back to the US.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/02/myth-percent-small-fraction-guns-mexico-come/

The rest (ALL the full-auto ones) are coming from foreign governments, international weapons dealers, Russian organized crime sources (which are actually front organizations for Eastern European Oligarchs) and in some cases, other drug cartels (which in most cases, are merely front organizations for various government agencies...)

The Greys?

Grey what? His fellow freemasons are what I was referring to. Are you one of them? You do realize all of the "founding fathers" were freemasons don't you? Most of capitol hill today is also freemasons. They run our govt, as well as a lot of the illegal activity like the drugs, illegal guns, sex slave trade, pedophilia rings, etc. We only have the DEA to stop people from encroaching on their drug profits. The ATF to stop people encroaching on their whiskey and gun racket. Then we have the DHS for those Americans that know who's behind it all.

Gruesome, but it might get their attention.
Similar feeling for one directed at criminal 'immigrants'.
Of course, the drug dealers that carry & sell are pretty low in the command structure & highly replaceable.

It'd be nice to be able to selectively terminate some of the highest drug criminals, the ones in charge of the whole shebang. It'll never happen.

Carefull there...

Suggestions like that might warrant a visit from the Secret Service, because they could, technically, be interpreted as a "threat on a high government official of the USA"...

Hey , as long as our nation produces a demand for drugs, there will be suppliers

Let's end this stupid drug war.
