SNIP That's her problem, not ours.

Oh, I'm sorry. It absolutely is "our" problem--the problem of every single individual who believes he can vote to determine how to run the country (or any variation of that idea.)

This isn't directed at you personally, Grapeshot. I woulda quoted and remarked no matter who said it.

Yes, reader. It is absolutely your problem. If you believe in or agree with government--as perpetrated against the common guy today--then it is most definitely your problem.

It is painfully simple.

The instant you accepted that coercive government was legitimate, in that same instant you legitimatized Hillary Clinton and all her ilk. That is to say, the instant you agreed--perhaps without realizing it--that is was OK to rule everybody else by way of the ballot box, in that same instant you said it was OK for all of them to rule you.

The constitution hardly enters into it at all. The instant you decided/agreed/accepted the constitution was the way to go, in that instant you were saying it was ay-ok to force your ideas about the constitution on everybody else. Well, in that same breath--perphaps without realizing it--you also said it was OK for everybody else to inflict their ideas about the constitution on you.

You see, it matters much less what the ideas about the constitutionare. What matters most is that whoever is in control gets to use force to inflict their ideasabout the constitution on everybody else.

And, the instant you agreed or accepted that it was OK for you to force others to abide by your ideas about the constitution--that was the same instant you legitimized them inflicting by force their ideas on you.

So, yes, Hillary and her problem is our problem.

That is entirely out of context for what I said in post #2, where all I was pointing out was her inability to recall.....and that IS her personal problem.

A lot of different meanings to Kek - hope the story has a happy ending.

I'll read the Cliff Notes in the morning after the report - no sense in having an extra nightmare. :p

Yet again, the guy with the hammer sees nails everywhere.

And yet again, he offers condemnation of the current system without offering any workable alternative.

He weights his scales on side with all the bad the exists and can be imagined or manufactured regarding our current system. On the other side, he heaps all the good that might theoretically exist under his favored non-system.

It is the same tactic used by gun grabbers: They focus on the costs of private gun ownership while ignoring the benefits. They sing the theoretical praises of a disarmed population while refusing to even discuss the proven costs (ie genocide, loss of all other rights, etc).

It is the same tactic used by socialists and communists. And in theory, socialism and communism work great. Utopian promises always sound nice. Even the Trekkies have their version of Utopia where all are perfectly free to pursue their dreams unencumbered by nasty capitalism or nation states.

Given the propensity for anarchy to lead directly to totalitarian communist regimes, indeed for communists to use anarchy to pave the way for communism, one has to start to wonder if well read, intelligent anarchists are not actually agents of change hoping to see communism implemented in their nation. Certainly ignorance cannot be a reasonable excuse or explanation for the well-read, intelligent purveyor of anarchy.
