We're pulling together our second annual Front Sight 4 day defensive handgun class for April 15-18, 2011. We have a block of rooms reserved at a local hotel in Pahrump, Nevada. For more info, see the 2/14/11 news posting at AzCDL's website.

If you are interested, please let me know on this forum, or contact me directly at treasurer@azcdl.org.

Wish I could make it - I have the certificate for a weekday course...unless someone wants to trade me that is...
One of our members is selling the "regular" (can go weekend or weekday) course certificates for $200. Let me know if you are interested.

$200 for a $2,000 four-day class is a steal.

Hmmm that might be a winner...how much would the hotel be for 3 nights?
You'll need the hotel for 5 nights. Arrive on 4/14. Check out on 4/19 (the day after class).

We reserved a block of hotel rooms at a discounted rate. Details can be found in our Feb 14 news article. It's $42 a night for Sun-Thur and $52 a night for Fri & Sat. That doesn't include tax. A Breakfast buffet is included in the price. You'll also need to bring your own lunches.

You'll also need at least 800 rounds of factory ammo (no reloads). I recommend a straight drop OWB holster and at least 4 spare magazines. I only wear 3 magazines in class (you can get by with 2) , but I've learned it's best to have 4 on me. I bring over a dozen with me.
