"Compromise" is unnecessary when one is negotiating from a position of strength. (Keep your cake and pass it on to your children and grandchildren!) :)

You mean we can't have our cake and eat it, too? if we pass it down, it'll go bad, then our children will have food poisoning.

Also, much like staying away from the cars vs. guns analogies, we must refrain from using cake for metaphorical purposes, as we all know "The cake is a lie." (Video game reference)
