Pro OC POEMS

Protection of my life was granted at birth,
Not By a Man but a power not living on this Earth.

So day to day i walk through this life,
Hoping and praying to encounter no strife.

On my hip resides a Tool,
To protect me and mine from any ill intending fool.


It's not there to brag it's not there for show,
It's there because my life is precious and i want the world to know.


So if you see me as you travel the daily road,
My protection is my responsibility from God i was told.

Violets are blue

No Reason Not to Go...

Figured I would give this thread another bump, and enlighten people who are planning an OC get-together.
Enjoy.

When aiming to desensitize,
Educate and show
That OC should not be ostracized,
Shunned, avoided, no.
A lunch or picnic organize;
Whichever name's in vogue.
Though no one else may arrive,
No reason not to go.

Dress for the weather, temperature,
Be it high or low,
Choose your clothes, use freshener,
Let that Open Carry spirit flow.:lol:
Build up yourself an overture;
No reason not to go.

Invite your friends and family,
But watch your language though,
Make use of words like "cordially";
Each presence helps, you know.
And this is true especially
If they have the spouse and kids in tow.
So all together, say with me:
"No reason not to go"

Every reason to go,
Come rain or snow.
If you don't attend,
Who can you send,
That believes enough,
In all of the stuff,
For which we fight.
Shine a bright light,
And enter the fray.
Be here to say,
Don't say no,
There's reason to go.
