I felt that the 18% surcharge was out of line. It is not a gratituity when it is included in the bill. I normally leave at least 20% as gratituity.
I will be writing the manager about it, and the OC meet WILL NOT be mentioned.

when im told what im going to tip, with no choice..
thats ALL they get, i would have tipped more, if it was my choice.
their was also a charge because we were a group,
i think that is total B.S., we were a bunch of individuals,
that just happened to be sharing ONE real big table!

well,,,

their were 11 forum members at breakfast saturday, + a wife and 2 adorable little girls.
i talked alot with one member, that said he had a CPL and a modern semi auto pistol.
he said that he did not feel comfortable enough yet to carry either concealed or Open.
so out of 11 open carry advocates one of us was not carrying at all!
i have read about many members that were new to guns, and new to the idea of open carry,
so i didnt have any negative feelings or thoughts about his getting used to carry.
and ive always tried to be understanding of the breakin period and the getting used to
the new idea of carrying the means of personal self defense, especially open carry.
it wasnt until id been home, and had a chance to digest this conversation for 18 hours!,
before it hit me!, that this member had really Blown his perfect, safe carry, training outing.
i really wish that he could have talked to us about his misgivings before,
we could have offered all kinds of support and encouragement.
i would have suggested that he carefully conceal carry to the restaurant,
then after seeing us all there with our open carried guns,
he might decide, in the safety of the group, with nobody having any problems,
he might just slip off his coat and

a funny breakdown of the count for the meet...
4 members said they would at least try to come,,, but havent said they did,,, and neither did i...
5 members have made posts that show that they were actually there,,, and they were...
Some members were like ghosts,,, didnt check in, didnt check out.
maybe they were "pigments" of my imagination.
it was a fun time, and now im starting to get tired,,,, again....
