Todays court appearance was delayed because Jesus' attorney was sick:

Defendant Jesus Gonzalez in court. William J Molitor appeared for the State of Wisconsin. Deputy Court Clerk: krw Court received phone call from attorney Nelida Cortes, very ill. Case is adjourned to Branch 27 Notice of next court date received and filed; copy given to defendant by bailiff. Scheduling conference scheduled for 10-11-2010 at 08:30 am.

Defendant Jesus Gonzalez in court with attorney Nelida Cortes. William J Molitor appeared for the State of Wisconsin. Deputy Court Clerk: krw Defense motions to adjourn the jury trial set for 11-15-10 (medical records/discovery); State has no objections. Defense is requesting this matter be rescheduled for a jury trial and a final pretrial. Court orders parties to file and serve by the final pretrial date: 1. Motions in Limine; 2. Proposed jury instructions; 3. Final witnesses lists Parties are ordered to confirm availability of witnesses prior to final pretrial date. Further, Court advises parties that any change of plea occurring after final pretrial will be accepted only to charge in complaint and without the benefit of any negotiations with the state. Court orders the defendant to appear on all scheduled court hearings. Branch 27 Pretrial Scheduling Order signed and filed. Case is adjourned to Branch 27 Final Pretrial on 2-18-2011 at 8:30 am Jury trial scheduled for 02-28-2011 at 08:30 am.

Looks like the trial was re-scheduled to 2/28/11.

I will tell you what is in the public record. There is the final pre-trial hearing this Friday 2/18. As of this moment, the trial is set for 2/28/11.

Jesus is out on bail.

Trial has been delayed. Final pre-trial is June 10, Jury Trial is June 20.
