I carry literally everywhere I can. A few places are:

Co. Springs Area
Wal-Mart in Falcon/Peyton
Wal-Mart on Platte
Barnes and Noble in the Citadel parking lot
Jiffy Lube in Falcon/Peyton
Checker in Falcon/Peyton
Autozone in Falcon/Peyton
Autozone on Powers and Palmer Park
Checker on Powers jut north of Platte
Everywhere in Calhan that's legal - including the liquor store
Liquor stores in Falcon/Peyton
Dicks on Powers
Wal-Mart on Powers and Woodmen
Tire King in Falcon
Discount Tire on Powers and Woodmen
Verizon Store on Powers and Barnes

Denver Metro Area
Diamond Shamrock on 61st and Federal
Shell Station on 64th and Sheridan
Gunther Toody's on 104th
Bennetts BBQ on 52nd and Wads
D's Liquor on 106th and Huron (I think)
Wal-Mart on 72nd and Sheridan
Little Caesars Pizza on 72nd and Sheridan

Lol... there are a lot more but I'm beginning to see that a lot of them are food and gas stores. The only unfriendly places I've been are the Corner Store in Falcon (cleared up after chatting with the regional manager who said OC is perfectly fine) and Buffalo Wild Wings which I never heard back from but it seems to be a corporate policy. I'll let you all know of anywhere interesting and also of anywhere unwelcoming. This is a great thread as it will give a solid list of the good and the bad.

Location
Lakewood, Colorado, USA
Location: Belmar Shopping Plaza Parking Garage
City: Lakewood
Subdivision: Belmar
Nearest Crossroads: Alameda and Wadsworth

Was open carrying like usual. I had to get a new disc for disc golf so I was heading out to Dicks. Due to construction- the adjacent parking lots where closed off. I was forced into the parking garage. I found an open spot on the second level only to realize- there are posted signs prohibiting the open carry of weapons. They litter the garage like No Skating and Exit signs. They're prevalent.

:( And I was having such a nice day out OC. I covered up and went inside. I declined to uncover while entering the store. I got a killer deal on a new disc and I left.

Word up to anybody shopping at the Belmar- watch for that parking garage as it's clearly privately owned, operated, and posted to prohibit OC.

Of course, you could do it anyway and challenge them to enforce their policy and turn you away...

(By the way, that's not a comprehensive list. Off topic.)

You are carrying open in Denver? Is that legal? I was under the impression that you couldn't carry at all in the metro area.

I have carried open in a few of those places, such as:
Walgreens all the time
Home Depot
Goodwill
Arbys
King Soopers
Golden Corral
Specialty Sports

All of them in the southern part of Colorado Springs. I was in Specialty Sports twice last month, once looking for a holster, and the second time when the Ruger CEO was there. BTW, I don't think he appreciated that I liked the GP100 over his plastic cap pistol. :)
