"There is more and more pressure on all sides," says Anthony Cordesman, a former senior U.S. intelligence and defense official and now chair of strategy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Washington D.C.-based think tank. "All of them are interacting now in ways that make it harder and harder to anticipate the actions of each other."

I was sitting up at two in the morning, the insomniac that I am, and got to thinking about this election cycle, and what a war between Iran and Israel might mean for this years Presidential run.

I wonder if anyone else has considered the potential ramifications if Iran and Israel started bombing the hell out of each other. Am I wrong to think that a larger number of Americans will likely hold to President Obama over some new guy during this volatile time? I say yes. What say you!

Then you don't agree with me. I believe he will be less likely to be voted from office if sh*t hit the fan.
But that's not what you said. Am I wrong was your question to which you answered in the affirmative. ;)
I say yes too; I think America is ready to dump Obama no matter what.
I agree, clearly people will be fed up with all this nonsense and vote the man that promises to end all of it by destroying everything.

On a serious note: All I know is that I'm ready for Obama to meet the curb. But he is the incumbent and they really get voted out. One can only hope that America comes to it's senses and gives Obama the boot.

If we got into a war it should cause all antiwar liberals to write in Ron Paul or choose a third party since war is so horrible and what ever.

I personally believe Iran is a powder keg. It's just a matter of time when it goes off. I have full faith in our Israeli allies though. Aside from ours they have one of the most well trained militaries. IINM they require all men to serve in the military when they reach age 18.

Yeah, war is pretty horrible. We should distance ourselves from this mess while we still can. It would be nice if the illiberal left saw this.

Think of the last president that commanded respect.

Not policy-wise , but persona.

Someone who wouldn't pull punches, didn't take all the credit for a mission overseas, didn't have vocabulary issues, didn't close a **** ton of military bases, didn't lie to the people about raising taxes.....

Reagan.. and Kennedy....

Two people, in my mind, that had a very tough attitude when it came to war.

BOTH had the attitude of 'hey, we don't wanna go to war, but don't F#(%& with us either, or we'll wipe you off the map'...... and it showed.

I see Ron Paul in a similar way.. 'Hey, you guys do what you do, we'll take care of ourselves... but you even THINK of f#%(ing with us, and you'll be screwed'..

Lets not get into a policy debate about each thing that each president did.

I'm just talking about a persona that translated into real life results..

That depends entirely on how such a war might begin. If it's begun as a result of the administration's actions which could/should have been avoided, then no, he will not be re-elected, as Americans are SICK of war. And of Obama. Put the two together and he's outta there faster than the contents of a sick baby's stomach.

There are some individuals who are sick of President Obama; they have been sick of President Obama since before he was elected to office by ten million votes.

He wouldn't go to war for political reasons nor personal; he's no George W. Bush.

^This...

Most Americans are sick of Obama? HAHAHAHAHAHAH Quit smoking crack people...

Notice all of his polls are pretty steady. No volatile behavior. Even changes are minor which indicates that except for a few fence-sitters the same people that hated or loved him before hate or love him now. Unlike say Bush or Reagan that had humongous changes. Though, much of Obama's performance is on par with Reagan's though the GOP will NEVER admit to it.

More like the same Americans that didn't like him before for shady reasons don't like him now for the same shady reasons. LOL

Oh but he will. He might not be Bush, but he's Bush's fellow progressive cousin.

I wouldn't be suprised if the obozo regime aided in the bombing of Iran believeing it would give him a popular boost amoung repukes who don't care for whomever is nominated. However we know he would do it half assed and not do enough damage to set them back enough to make the endeavor worthwhile. Itis stunning how the acolytes of the moonbat messiah have turned out to be the real "bitter clingers", with a white knuckle grip on their marxist dogma and delusional zealotry. They think this clown will actually make socialism work, that anyone who doesn't "think" like them only do so out of racism, and are even mindless enough to denounce conservatives for their religious beliefs but appear to have been spelunking when that idiot insisted Jesus Christ Himself would propose a similar budget. Lets try to forget nanzi pillousy quoting bible versus like a 2nd grader with public speaking anxiety.

Keep dreaming bed wetters, your moonbat messiah ran as a "moderate" on domestic issues and governed like mussolini. He denounced every tenent of the Bush foriegn policy, and resumed the same course (except for the bowing to despotic rulers and groveling to the muslim world). Plenty of the hardcore left is just as disgusted with him but will probably still vote for him if they aren't too stoned to remember too, but the "moderates" he pandered too are no longer under any illusions, and the repukes are fully aware of how much of a disaster he is.

What say you!

A larger number (52.8% of those who voted in the last presidential election) of Americans held to Obama and put him in office with their votes.

If none of them have a change of heart, we'll likely have him for another four years. :banghead:
