Does anyone use them? It seems that they could be useful in an open carry situation, however I could see it getting in the way. Just wondering what your thoughts are on them. What you like and don't like about them.

Hated using them in the military. Would not use one now. Easy for someone to grab, restricts transfering weapon to off hand if needed.

This brings me to my second question

Do any of you use a back up pistol? say a gun grab were to take place and you needed some another form of firepower other than your primary? Thanks to all who provide input for or against.
