We were discussing some black powder revolvers in my state's forum, and it made me curious about CA. How do your laws treat the carrying of black powder firearms, and does it matter if it is vintage or modern?

Or do your laws treat the carrying of a black powder revolver the same as a modern sidearm?

Being so close to CA, I am often asked about your laws, and don't pretend to be an expert, but I often steer them to this website for the answers I don't know. I don't visit your state myself; it's not personal.

It would appear that antique firearms are treated the same as modern firearms in the Sunshine state.
