AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS FROM VIOLENCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to protect children, families and other individuals from violence by (1) strengthening provisions concerning the sale, possession and transfer of firearms, assault weapons and ammunition, and (2) enacting other measures to enhance safety in schools, residences and the community.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect children, families and other individuals from violence.

so they drafted a bill, then voted on the bill, which is meant only to suggest drafting more bills? wtf?? hahaha, talk about a total waste of time money paper and ink

They propose a bill and then the committee writes it ... then makes it a committee bill & re-introduces it ... in some cases

in other cases, a bill is actually written as a bill and introduced as a raised bill...ie ready to go .. in other cases
