We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Instead of using profanity, issue a cordial invitation to the fine, upstanding officer to go attempt a physiologically impossible act of self-impregnation. Then go on your way. By the time he/she finally figures out what you actually said, you'll be long gone!!:lol:

I am no fan of cops and their misuse of these laws, but I draw a blank trying to relate this to Washington OC? Can ya help me out?

Lets say you refuse to ID, etc.. They get pissy and go the obstruction route. The comments from King County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart kind of bothered me in that respect. That he mentions you WILL be arrested.

I was threatened with that on my first OC encounter, my mistake was complying after much harassment and threats. I should have let him arrest me. In Washington as long as the officer had no PC or RAS, I believe it won't hold water. In a few other encounters I have learned to simply refuse, it goes better for you. It doesn't stop them from labeling you as "uncooperative" in their reports though, which is a Brady violation.
I get the connection now, was thought you were taking it in another direction for some odd reason. Thank you for the clarification.

I missed something, what did I violate? I didnt know the officer couldnt have a PC. Are they supposed to be using Mac?

I know that, but I have learned long ago that when you try to stand up for your constitutional rights, police have a litany of boiler plate words they use to try to paint you as a horrible person to the judge or possible jury. "Uncooperative" is one I have heard many times.
They often do and would like to be able to use MAC (Made up A Cause), but the damn courts have tied their hands to PC (probably cause).

Remember: 'Cooperation' is cop speak for 'Capitulation'.

OR... Cooperation = Copulation as they bend you over asking you to give rights.
