Hoekstra or Durant

I don't do my own research, gut GOA is supporting Durant.

From what I understand, based specifically on firearm legislation, Hoekstra would earn an A. The issue GOA has is that he is very weak on 1st & 4th Amendment issues as he is willing to trade these protections in in order to prevent terrorism. As GOA says, these amendments are as important as the 2nd in protecting our right to carry.

Sadly, it looks like Huckster is going to win. I spoke with him after a debate in DeWitt. I confronted him (in front of a mini-crowd of 10) on his voting record on the PATRIOT act. He defended his record in saying voting for the act each time was the right thing to do for our country. HURL!
