Saturday, August 24th is the day to buy a coffee from Starbucks

Lets all make sure that Starbucks sees an *increase* in sales instead of a decrease on 'Starbucks Saturday'. Starbucks has indicated that they don't want to be put in the middle of these issues, so it is important that we silently but deliberately patronize them whenever the anti-rights cultists get all worked up.

Work in an office or with a bunch of people who like coffee? Why not buy coffee for all of them that day?

If you carry, carry however you want, however you normally do. There is no need to OC. Just buy a coffee to show why these people are the minority and to show Starbucks where their money comes from.

The idea is to offset any potential boycott, making the anti-rights cultists out to be the ineffectual whiners that they are.

People who go out of their way to inconvenience and annoy cashiers and baristas with non-standard denominations trying to send 'cute messages' is exactly the opposite. If every time these people throw a tantrum Starbucks sees an increase in profit, they are not likely to change anything. On the other hand, if people on our side continue to put Starbucks in the middle by staging protests and demonstrations in their stores, they will make a decision and we are unlikely to to see one that is beneficial to our way of life.

Starbucks requested in their corporate policy that people not put them in the middle of these political issues. If the other side does it, respond silently and without fanfare, but be sure to make them look silly. The high ground will always prevail with enough time.

Didn't even get a second glance today while OC'ing at SB's. That tells me OC is becoming more main stream here by the day. Didn't see anyone else OC'ing but that's fine too as it's NOT for everybody as we all know. All in all, id say it was a big flop for the anti's.......:)
