A veteran is someone, who at one point in their life; wrote a blank check
payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and
including their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many
people in this country who no longer remember that fact.

I thank my sister for this quote which, I think, says it all.
I add my thanks to our Veteran's around the world, to give me the freedom to be here.

Amen!! I am honored that today I have had the chance to shake hands with a large number of Veterans as we do a Veterans program here at the District I work at. All of the Vets go right past my door on the way to the Auditorium.

A friend of mine had the same quote as her status on Facebook today! Same person? Either way it is a great quote!
