There is a growing number of US folks emigrating to get away from the US too, something to think about.

Nonsense. I lived in San Francisco. I know firsthand what it's like to live under an invasion.

Of course, I do remain confused on how a bunch of Germans showing up to work as busboys in their myriad ethnic restaurants caused the fall of Rome... But there's only so much history a guy can master, amirite?

2 types of people come here from mexico..

1st) honorable people looking to get the heck out of mexico (can't blame them really - for trying)

2nd) criminals trying to escape mexican justice

Both of them vote democrat. Both of them bring their system of Mexican corruption and socialism. Both of them have ruined California causing good people to flee to other states.

Who elected, or didn't stop, the lawmakers before the current crop of "immigrates" arrived?

It is easier to blame outsiders for inside failings.

Honestly, I don't give a **** who they vote for. Mexico has turned into a war torn cesspool, and I can't blame a single honest person who fled from there. I would propose that any who have been here for more than two years, not on public assistance, and have no criminal background, should be granted amnesty and citizenship. To me, their flight to the US is no different than when people hauled ass out of Chicago and Detroit when those cities started going to hell. Why is it that they should be ostracized, just because the imaginary line they crossed happened to be Texas/Mexico, and not Illinois/Indiana? Legality and morality are not necessarily one and the same.

Let us not forget, this country was largely built by those who didn't speak a single word of English, who were just looking for a better way of life. Hell, the company that I work for has to hire many Guatemalans (and yes, they make almost as much as I do, so the "cheap labor" argument can be cast aside in at least one case, and likely most) because most of the natural born US citizens we hire end up being next to worthless.

It's a cesspool from a lot of U.S. crap to boot.
