When his 38 caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim
during a hold-up in Long Beach , California would-be robber James
Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the
barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked.
A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car
during a blizzard in Chicago returned with his vehicle to find a woman
had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her.
A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the
counter, and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash drawer,
the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register, which
the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and
fled, leaving the $20 bill on the counter. The total amount of cash he
got from the drawer... $15. [If someone points a gun at you and gives
you money, is a crime committed?]
The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a
Burger King in Ypsilanti , Michigan at 5 A.M., flashed a gun, and
demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't
open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion
rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast... The man,
frustrated, walked away. [*A 5-STAR STUPIDITY AWARD WINNER]

If true she got off easy. They didn't do anything to her car.

But, But But, handguns are illegal to own, so it must have been a long-gun, right? Oh, wait, didn't the numbnutz soon to be EX mayor try to outlaw those too?

Ah, How I do miss the sight of lawn chairs, broom sticks and exercise equipment blocking shoveled parking spaces. I always loved it when the plows got tired of it and just plowed through the crap anyway!! Glad I owned a 4x4 vehicle, I parked on all the piled up snow!!

Anyway, I believe it happened. The mentality is if you shoveled it, it's yours.

I believe it's called "armed givery." Or, at least it ought to be. Kind of like when Mexico forced us to take Texas. Okay Texas people... I'm just kidding!! It was a joke. Like the Cowboys.

I know you folks are using humor here but,

It ain't the fact that some bad guy got or didn't get any money IT IS THE FACT THAT HE USED A WEAPON TO TAKE THAT WHICH WAS NOT HIS!

Yep, even if he got nothing.... IT WAS AN ARMED ROBBERY and he deserves all the time the courts will give him IF HE SURVIVES THE ROBBERY ATTEMPT ITSELF!

I'm going to have to be "that guy." Darwin Award means the person killed himself somehow.

In that case, Protias....

The above would be the clear winner...the rest are wannabees.
