I walked in wearing a 3" S&W 44 spl. I wore it back home too.

I was there to buy a .54 Sharps, which I bought......but then I saw the ultimate BIG GUN in the case and it spoke to me...buy me and we'll rule the world.

So I did and when I left I was not only wearing the S&W and carrying the Sharps, but tucked in my waistband was an unfired, 9 shot 44 with a single extra barrel in 20 Ga....LeMat Revolver.

And we shall rule the South at least!

Sounds like you did really well. Hopefully it didn't break your bank too much. Post up a couple pics so we can truly admire your new tools.

I didn't get hurt but It wasn't a super deal either.

A tad under $1,600.00 for the two but a LeMat has always been my dream gun.
Jane took pictures after we left the store but didn't focus (she was using my 7D):uhoh:

I'll take some this weekend. Gotta make up some paper cartridges for the Sharps now.

No, that's one of he very rare centerfire versions. It was also made in pinfire.

Mine is like this:

I don't like the lines on the centerfire model even if you could get one. Mine sizes at .454 with a .61 shotgun barrel.

Thats awesome! Thats one of those firearms that just ooze with 'character'. Is this a collector, or are you going to fire it?

Suspect that Peter will tie a yellow sash about his waist and carry it cross draw one day soon.

It HAS been shot in the last 48 hours. I may just wear it at the next OC Dinner. Sure won't cause more gossip than the BFR:lol:
