Unless that cop is a ninja, he was never in front of the vehicle. He injected himself into a dangerous situation.

Let her go and get her with back-up.

Nope, gotta stop that citizen no matter what. Getting disrespected by a mundane will not be tolerated.....ever.

and if the girl was drunk and killed someone in an accident, everyone would be yelling about how the cop didn't stop her.

IDK, he could have been a JKD or Wing Chun practitioner too. Jet Li does Wing Chun and he jumps on moving car hoods. Chuck Norris' beard stops cars. Wilt Chamberlain was in a Bruce Lee flick. All cops are ninjas.

I can agree with this. In the heat of the moment you can lose track good common sense. The video of the cop the jumped over the side of a bridge because his perp. did. Tunnel vision can/has caused many deaths.

Witness accounts are never biased are they? Let's take in account all the witness that call in a MWAG that is out trying to scare people. So, just to be clear, witnesses are inaccurate as long as their account is against someone that is carrying but always 100% accurate when it is an account against what happened behind flashing LED and flood lights (in the witnesses' eyes) on a pitch black street. I also guess no one knows that if an ANYONE steps out in front of your car you can just slam on the gas and keep going. That was not the officer's first attempt to get the car to stop.

No sir, even if the officer carries fault it was the girl's poor choices that got her killed. I would hope we all agree that it is common sense to not hit the accelerator if ANYONE steps out in front of your vehicle. Just to bring it back onto a RKBA'ish topic, a car IS a deadly weapon and you have a right to defend yourself against a deadly weapon. She might as well have pointed a gun.

OK.

The road is where cars are meant to be driven, much like a shooting range is where guns are meant to be fired.

So, is it automatically righteous if I stand in front of people shooting downrange, then shoot them since, after all, they were using a weapon in my direction?

Evidently he's not a perpetual perpetrator anymore!

Stupid auto correct, perp not perpetual

Prior perpetual perpetrator potentially pleased partner's propensity to passively pause previously.

The cognitive disconnect between my fingers and my brain often permits typing a word neither intended nor fitting - not always caught by proof reading either - results in a word that is real........and I knew what I meant. :(

His partner didn't follow him over the bridge rail.

Now I see it :uhoh:. Very impressive sir!

I know it is twisted, but every time I see that video I chuckle (just a little) when that "oh sheeiit" look hits his face. It is very easy to get those blinders on. I used to work loss prevention for a retail store. I was chasing a shoplifter one time. Next thing I knew, I was running along RR tracks back in some woods. Not a good situation to be in if you are unarmed and alone.:shocker: Had I not been in the chase mode I would have never gone that far or anywhere near that area (rough area of New Port KY). Only guy that outran me, lol.
