What was it that Winston Churchill said about the Armerican form of government? That it was the absolute worst possible form of government - except for every other form of government.

When we forget how much we individually are responsible for the government and thus the health of the country as a whole, we slip into the sort of mess we find today. It's not enough to cast a vote every time an election comes around - you need to cast that vote intelligently and purposefully. Far too many folks are happy merely bragging that they have voted in every election since [insert event of importance to them]. I can't think of an election I have not sweated over before casting my vote.
