No, No loaded guns on the floor, typically 2 Ct Charles city popo string cable ties through the chambers on guns folks bring in.

Concealed is concealed and it is not against the law but of spotted printing a rude escort out should be expected.

If you are not in the market for something, save your 6 bucks, it is a small bi-monthly show with a few hundred guns there, typical overpriced stuff and cheap beater stuff.

i am not saying no deals are there, there certainly can be, but it typically is not a great look around show.

Is this the "Midwest Firearms Collectors" thing at the St. Charles Convention Center that they have every other month, or so? If I'm not mistaken, they hold it at the Machinist's Hall (FeeFee Rd?) every so often.

Here's an eye opener: Whenever they have it, they usually advertise on the radio. I couldn't remember if it was this weekend, or if I was just remembering an ad from sometime in the past. So I decided to find out.

I FRIGGIN' GOOGLED:

1) St. Louis Area Gun Show.
2)Gun Show St Charles.
3) Gun Show St. Charles Convention Center
4)Midwest Firearm Collectors Gun Show St. Charles Convention Center August 2011 Schedule
5) AND 1000 FRIGGIN' COMBINATIONS OF THE ABOVE WORDS

And the only thing I found was an unanswered post from AR15.com forums from 2008 asking "Is there a gun Show in St. Charles this weekend"?

What kind of sucky-ass event promotion do these people have when you CAN'T GET ANY INFO FROM GOOGLING IT?

Watch: From the high rate of activity, this thread will probably shoot right to the top of a Google Search for St. Charles gun shows as it is now the definitive authority pertaining to them. There is more information concerning this event in this thread alone than exists on the ENTIRE INTERNET.

What I really need now is for some smart-aleck to post about 500 links to the event for the sole purpose of poking a finger in my eye and to demonstrate how inept my Google-foo is.

I had a crappy day. Can anyone tell?

Its the Missouri Arms Collectors Association. Sorry I should have provided the link. Its at the banquet center. If you take Fifth St. north you make the very first right and come back on the outer road. Its sits on the hill overlooking the highway, the bridge and casino. http://www.missouriarmscollectorsassociation.com/

They only have shows about every six months or so. I like it because you get different vendors than most of the shows in the area. Seems like they have more individual private collectors at this one as well. I know the Machinist hall has them all the time but I don't think this group is affiliated with them. And they just had the one at the Convention Center a couple of weeks ago.

I went today. Its only cost $6 bucks. Cjheaper than most shows in the area. Its small but they do have some pretty cool stuff. Prices are about the same as any gun show but a few tables seems to have good prices. There's a lot of tables with 19th century arms and memorabilia (muskets, sharps, palm pistols, swords, etc.) if thats your kind of thing. Some WWII stuff, guns and gear and of course modern long guns and pistols. One guy had a nice engraved Remington 1100 with 3 extra barrels for $750. I thought that was a good deal. There were quite a few tables that were still covered so i guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see else is there. One guy was selling NIB Jimenaz?, (out of Las Vegas) 9mm's, 380's, and .22's pistols starting at $150 for the 9mm to under $100 for the little pocket .22. They were cheap as heck but if you want something for the floorboards to your truck this may do.

Anyway, have fun if you go and good luck.

It is one and the same. They used to put it on every other month alternating among the machinist hall and the heart of st Charles.

Did they have the barrels of cmmg ar's there? Did the MSSA have their booth set up? I did not see Zach ask for any assistance manning it this time so I doubt they were there.

Like I said when I got there there were quite a few tables with covers on them so it was hard to tell who all was there. I'm gonna try to go again later today or tomorrow. If I see them I will let you all know. I didn't see Lawrence and his crew from CMMG there but they have been in the past. Come to think of it I didn't see them at the St. Charles convention center show either. I didn't see a MSSA booth but they did have the NRA & GCLA there.
