Attention Android users, CLSD has released its first smartphone app. You can download our app for free at http://ibuildapp.com/projects.php?filter=iphone&searchText=CLSD&searchCat=-1&page=1

Access our "Library" page with free content on Michigan laws, our Facebook page, read a preview of our Open Carry Handbook, plus much more.

This is our trial run, so please share your feedback, we want to continue to improve this feature for everyone. We will be adding more content in the near future.

confirmed, the library wont download the documents...at least on my phone, Evo Shift.

I like the events page +1

I also like the handbook, I know its just a sample, but instead of needing to scroll through the different chapters maybe have each chapter in the index be a link so you can jump to a specific one if there was one you were looking to reference specifically.

Thanks for the feedback Yance. I will try to get the issues resolved with the documents in a day or two.

In the preview of the Handbook only the first 2 chapters are available, we wanted to showcase the Table of Contents and the intro to show all of the material the book covers, but we can certainly look into changing it up a bit.

I give the book two thumbs up :)

I bought the electronic/PDF version of the book. It was well worth the "tiny" price tag. I keep it on a flash drive and review it as often as I can during breaks etc.. It is stuffed full of useful information. A must read for MI. OCers. :D

Hey John, I got a few quick things that I noticed so far.

1. In the library when you click on the link for CPL Free Zones it takes you to the page to download the Firearms & drugs doc. Plus as others have mentioned the docs wont download.

2. When you click on the link to Guns at Casinos it takes you to a Google Docs login page.

3. When on a document download page and I hit the back button on my phone it takes me all the way back to the home page instead of just going back to the library page, which can get a little annoying.

4. Add MSP Update No. 86

5. No times on the events.

6. Apps to SD would be great!

Other than those it looks like a pretty good start!!

Device: Epic 4G Android 2.1

Yes, the links have been a bit of an issue, when I test them on the simulator they all work. I'll keep working on them and should have that fixed by tomorrow evening. I don't have an Android to test the live app on so I wanted to post it here to be able to test it and make sure we fix all the glitches.

Unfortunately, one step that can not be fixed is when you hit the back button and you are redirected to the home screen. I agree, that function could work better, but hopefully when it's fixed it won't be too much of an issue.

The times should be up on the events, but I will double check it. I will also add MSP 86 tonight, great suggestion!

Thanks.

Edited 1, 2, 4, 5 Should be fixed.

Also the recent Attorney General opinion regarding open carry would be informative to have, especially to refer to if you are talking to someone regarding OC.
