I think that Marko Kloos presents a good argument why we see the reaction from government officials to the open carry of firearms... it reminds them that instead of using "force" upon citizens, they need to focus on "reason". An interesting essay... enjoy.

A well written piece that has been around a few years now, but should not be attributed to JPFO - they only reprinted it with permission.

This is an original article by Marko Kloos and first appeared on this web site March 23, 2007.

The link I put in required that I, 1) attribute the article to them, and 2), that I provide a link instead of just copy/paste... just doing what I was told. I don't need to pay some attorney if they sue me... but, if THEY acted illegally through plagiarism, by all means, bring this to their attention. ;)

Nothing to take up with JFPO - they properly noted: Reproduced by permission of the author.
