When it went over $4.00 last time the media and leftists in Washington (is there a difference at this point) were screaming for Bush to do something. The gas prices were hurting the economy, they said. This time, with the White House inhabited by the left, higher prices are a sign of a stronger economy and therefore a good thing. Also the prices were only this elevated for a relatively short period (about 6 months) rather than continuing upward for basically 3 years with no real relief. I think this is the issue.

A president can not affect gas prices, just ask Obama. If Bush would have stated that, the loony-lib-sock-puppets would have believed him.....no, really they would have.

All the whining about the price of gasoline and the price of diesel fuel is 15% higher. Why isn't that being mentioned.
I would like to go to some of the various get-together s but even going to Port Orchard or Bremerton is cost prohibitive. In my diesel pickup that is $30 or almost a days income for me.
If I had to use one of those ferryboats for some reason that's another $25.50.
I don't know how people can afford to drive for pleasure any more. Heck I don't know how people can afford to drive to work.

I wanted to refute your "opinion" but eh...

I admit to this. Sigh...

were bad under Bush with a national average of $1.87 but are good under BHO at $4.00

That's correct, so why aren't the mindless liberals screaming about Obama's high gas prices as they did over Bush's much lower national average? I'll love to tell you why but I would surely be censored and banned.

If I haven't been banned for some of the outlandish $#!t I've said, I doubt you have much to worry about.:D

Speaking the truth here is not frowned upon, even regurgitating socialist agitprop seems to be tolerated.
