But I want to see her face when the IRS hits her up for taxes on the $35,000 additional income and the state hits her up for taxes on the value of the car.

Bet the dealersip never considered that, or that they could have sold the car to her at a reduced price to limit her federal and state tax liability.

No good deed goes unpunished.
