Take everybody who is pro gun control out, and let them shoot various machineguns. They well instantly reconsider their position on gun control!

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Not if some of them mistakenly shoot some of the others. If that happened, it would only reinforce their idiotic thinking that "guns are bad," even though the only bad thing about it was their aim.

The proper way to get rid of gun control laws is be politically active, Be a candidate, support those candidates that are gun friendly...that means time and effort, not just money, though money is also necessary.
Without a solid gun friendly legislature/congress you will get no-where.

Very very true. Letters and phone calls to congressmen and being a well informed voter gets rid of gun control.
Although I do believe this would help
( with the proper safety precautions of course, as anti-gun activists likely have never fired a gun before).
