Sorry, no gun pron yet, got DELAYED AGAIN!!!
for those unfamiliar with the S&W numbering systems the -4 designates "improvement number" and 4 is more or less the most desirable number for a shooter in the 686 line. 5 and up have the internal locking system which on a 1911 is not really a known problem but some find it impure, on the S&W revolver, it is a known failure point that can actually self lock the gun, NOT GOOD, if you do not have the key on you you are done and even worse if you are using it in a self defense situation.
It has me all kinds of excited, 7 shot 357 on a solid proven format with a 6" barrel and adjustable sights. My auto practice has lent itself to weakening my marksmanship skills, a revolver will slow me down and improve discipline.
I have also decided to sell one of my XD's and have photos of it on mocarry. I like it a lot but it is redundant and I like shooting my 1911 more so it is time to get it a new home
If I happen to get undelayed tomorrow I will add some gun pron to this thread
