Retired military and LEO. Under Article 14 USC 89 of the USC, the USCG is both a military service and a federal law enforcement agency. Was a small arms instructor and competitive shooter for 19 out of my 23 years in the CG. I still teach at the range when asked. Daughter # 1 is an OCer and daughter # 3 is a competitive smallbore shooter.
Worked on ordnance from 76mm water-cooled cannon, 25mm Chain gun, .50 cal MG and small MG's including M60 (straight and "D" model) and M240B;Other small arms like rifles pistols and shotguns, too. Ammunition and pyrotechnics and associate required paperwork (what a PITA). Any other "Ordies" out there remember doing ATR's with Check-Sum-Digit?
I am 20 and am waiting to go to marine corps basic training... my occfield is 03xx ( infantry ) and i have a b-billet of security forces... i ship on november 22 and am gonna OC every day until leave for MCRD San Diego!

My Dad and a former BIL were both 82nd Airborne. My dad was originally 2nd Armor.
Me, I wanted to go Marines, but ended up going into LE later.
