Hi everyone… I am new on this site, actually new in this state and country  Just moved from Europe I am now living in Kentucky. I have married a Kentucky girl two months ago. Since childhood I have admired American way of life and freedom to carry a gun. As a gun enthusiast, now I have the opportunity to live the same way of life and can enjoy the same freedom as you guys do. I am coming from a country where it is almost impossible to get a license to possess a gun. You have to have a goooood reason for that (and under good reason I mean that just recently someone threaten your life or someone attempted to murder you) and you must go through a dozen different administration things and medical checking. Finally, if you are approved, in 99% of the cases you are only allowed to have a gun in your home. In 1% of the cases you will actually get a permit that allows you to carry a gun outside of your home and that always will have to be concealed. Open carry is not even imaginable. So, I have to say, whatever we think about what is going on in the U.S. about the 2nd amendment , the U.S. is far ahead and advanced in this matter than any other country. God bless America indeed. Well…let me just say this. My wife, knowing that I am big gun lover just bought me a brand new Beretta Px4 storm type F. She, herself has CCDW license and I am looking forward to getting mine soon. I am looking forward to getting to know you all better over time on this forum and maybe we can see each other on some shooting range or gun show.
