glad to hear it Joe, and I looked it up & you were 100% correct & I was wrong.
Indeed you cant go get armed Security accreditation on your own and need to be hired as an armed guard first. Weird law-should be changed.

I couldn't stop laughing after the first post, then the second came, I nearly sprayed milk on the computer screen...and it went down hill from there.

Being deployed a number of times, I remember how I could barely fit even one plate in the body armor...most times, I would leave it out because of the extra weight it added (plus it was too dog gone hot).

but lets do the math, a normal flak jacket weighed about 20 to 25 pounds, add a 10 to 15 pound plate and you have an Idea of how heavy your vest is going to be...add two to five pound handguns, with one pound clip...or 4, four ounce speed loader, after a couple of hours, you're going to want to sit down and take something off. we haven't gotten to the pack and extra-extra ammo. you can see how ridiculous this mall-ninja is becoming...it's so funny, i can't stop reading it.
