Ugh, just painful. It's all the government's fault. We're idiots for not wanting kids to have guns in schools.

We've been brainwashed by media to think kids with guns in school is a bad thing.

I've also been brainwashed into thinking cigarettes cause cancer, social security is at risk, and it's bad to own slaves.
I hope you have a warm bridge to crawl under after your banned from here because your real close to getting the ax.

Man, that'd just be devastating. Banned from an internet forum for taking a school gun threat more seriously than EVERYONE ELSE. What a black stain that would be on my soul. I would hope I recover from such a horrendous result.

I'm more than willing to meet you. So the balls in your court now. I'm a retired 40 year old from Culpeper. Let's meet tomorrow...

In fact I insist. Let's meet tomorrow and discuss the 50 posts in this thread to see who was over reacting and which one of us was in the right here.

We'll go trough this thread one by one and talk about each post. My treat of course.

Y'all should meet for lunch or something if Skid is willing. He won't admit to it, but he's good people.

If y'all meet for lunch, I suspect you'll find that threads like this tend to highlight or differences of perspective while real-life meet-n-greets tend to highlight the (probably) great deal we have in common.

I'd try to come too, but as a member of this forum, I'm obviously too old to travel. :p

I don't recall anyone asking you to stay.
Interesting reading though. You say your wife is a teacher. Makes sense kids are the way they are.
What do you do, sell ladies undergarments?

I'm fairly retired. I mostly gamble -- poker, fantasy and sports betting.

Pretty much says it all

So why are you here.

One has to wonder if a line is being thrown out behind the boat.

Just finished my large Slurpee....at our local middle school they would have called Mr Bohack to 'take care of this boy' - about 6'6" and 260#. After you get three 'Bohacks' you are invited
to spend some quality time with him after school.

The government wants you to be in fear. That is called control.

Crime is down. 40 years ago you would not hear about some shooting for weeks or months. And when you did it was on page 10 of the news paper. Today it is instant. Today it is sensationalized and done so to instill fear. In effect, you drank the Kool-aid.

Quit being manipulated.

Enough said.....

This.

It's exactly right. How does the state get away with locking down a whole county of schools for no reason? Because of people like Mr. "You're too old to get it". He has been absolutely convinced that the rights of the commoners mean precisely dick as long as some Authority figure says "public safety". It's beyond ridiculous. It's totalitarian.

My life's an open book. I don't hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Would take all of 2 minutes to Google my full information. I'm more than willing to meet you. So the balls in your court now. I'm a retired 40 year old from Culpeper. Let's meet tomorrow...

Given the short notice and my need to prepare for more than local trips, I'm still willing to take you up on your kind offer.

5 PM at the River City Diner at 803 N. Parham Road in Richmond. http://www.rivercitydiner.com/#!northside/c13oe

It's right off I-95 and very convenient from I-64 and I-295. Directions and map at the website above.

You buy dinner. I'll reimburse you the cost of gas to get there and back home.

You should be able to recognize me - I'm very very very old.

stay safe.

5:00 on a Friday is just too late. I was thinking early when there's no family around. Like right now for instance! By the time we finish and I drive back I've missed MLB and college football.

Ahh, the priorities of the young and restless. First the boob tube, then face to face socialization.

It's like picking wings off of a fly.

Some of us still gotta put in an honest days work.

At the computer

And the tv

Gambling on sports

In other words ..... I guess your DVR does not work with MLB and college football. So sorry to hear of that.

And what's wrong with families being around? Are you afraid the mere sight of you will cause horses to faint and women to stampede?

I picked 5 PM so you could miss all the NoVa-ish rush hour traffic coming and going. Also to allow me to do those things which are on my schedule for the day, and hope that you could clear most of your to-do list before leaving.

I guess being considerate is a very very very old value with no relevance these days.

I'll still be there at 5 PM if you would care to take the chance that the discussion you and I both seemed to want is more important than your other activities.

stay ssafe.
