Under the mandatory vaccinations, members of the city's Health Department will check the vaccination records of any individual who may have been in contact with infected patients..

Our overlords know better than we do regarding what is best for us. We should unquestioningly submit to their authority.

The most basic defining feature of progressivism is the same as the most basic defining feature of fascism: The People should accept that experts in government are far better suited to be making our decisions for us. Progressivism is fascism-lite. It just takes them longer to get around to violent enforcement.

The reason all school-mandate children vaccination verification forms contain three outs -- for religious, moral, or doctor advice -- is because the U.S. Supreme Court already heard these arguments before and declared it un-Constitutional for any local, county, state, or even the federal government to FORCE vaccinations upon an individual or upon children contrary to their parent's or guardian's decisions.

De Blasio is FLAGRANTLY violating U.S. Law.

Uh, er since9 you have ignored forum policies cite to law and as such you posted incorrect and extremely misleading information which any adolescent could have easily verified off WWW;

1905 Johnson vs Massachusetts USSC decision
Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905), was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The Court's decision articulated the view that the freedom of the individual must sometimes be subordinated to the common welfare and is subject to the police power of the state.

Sigh...per forum policy to aid you further since9 https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/197/11/

It seems that you are saying that SCOTUS has upheld exceptions based upon the above listed three grounds. Do you have a case on that issue? I see a lot of stuff acknowledging a religious exception (not the others), but don’t see an actual case that specifically upholds those exceptions.

Thanks in advance.

My bad, eye95. As this article states:

"No US federal vaccination laws exist, but all 50 states have laws requiring children attending public school to be vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (generally in a DTaP vaccine); polio (an IPV vaccine); measles and rubella (generally in an MMR vaccine); and varicella (chickenpox). All 50 states allow medical exemptions, 47 states allow religious exemptions, and 17 states allow philosophical (or personal belief) exemptions. DC allows medical and religious exemptions."

Thanks for the clarification. It is a pleasure to participate in discussions with you.

I wish, however, that the courts would clearly state a Right to control our own bodies as strongly as they do in reference to the killing of another human body within it.
