Maybe I gave a bad choice of words, but just to clarify I don't open or conceal carry in uniform. I just have it in my car. I was just using the uniform as an example, because a uniform seems to gather a lot of looks from your regular citizens (or at least that I notice for some reason).
And for the record, I'm Air Force reserve (so ABU), and Air Transportation, so definitely "no need" for carrying, in the sense of line of work (not to say personal defense isn't a consideration, because it certainly is for everyone).
Edit: And as for the picture, I'm prior Army, so that was the reasoning behind the ACU's in my picture. Found them to be rather good shooting pants, especially with my leg holster, and don't have any use for the ACU's at the moment so why not?![]()
Makes sense to me. Just thought I'd mention it since I've seen guard guys do it and I personally earned a write up on it.
