Z did nothing wrong except possibly speeding.
All the domestic violence charges were dropped after the women involved recanted their statements.
So he will still have the permission to bear certain arms in specfic places like the rest of us.
i'm thinking it's not over yet, He's now a walking target for life........
I know many of you guys are old timer and as such you have lived your life, it's us youngins have to deal with what will be..and seeing another acquitted legal gun owners going through this garbage and shunned socially and target for LE, i wouldn't be surprise he will explode soon.
Unlike youngins, old-timers usually have life experiences that contribute to wisdom. Experiences required us to make choices ALL through our lives. Each life experience is a test. And, you are tested ALL of your life. Either you wallow in sorrow or you chalk it up as experience, moving on. That's Z's choices, that's everyone's choices.i'm thinking it's not over yet, He's now a walking target for life........

Time to vote for your politicians. The local police department declined to recommend charges and the local DA declined to file charges.
THEN...
"Florida State Attorney Angela Corey announced the charges against Zimmerman during a televised press conference and reported that Zimmerman was in custody after turning himself in to law enforcement. Zimmerman was injured during the encounter and said he shot Martin in self-defense. After sixteen hours of deliberations over the course of two days, on July 13, 2013, the six-person jury rendered a not guilty verdict on all counts."
If you recall, Corey is the one who tried a 12-year-old as an adult.
She's the one who insisted upon trying Zimmerman, although by all rights, law, and evidence, Zimmerman committed no crime.
Corey prosecuted 31-year-old Marissa Alexander for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and obtained a mandatory minimum sentence of twenty years in prison, which generated controversy in the midst of the Trayvon Martin case. Alexander argued that she fired a warning shot after being threatened by her husband Rico Gray.
FORTUNATELY, Corey's efforts were overturned on appeal. Alexander only had to serve the remaining two years of a must lower sentence under house arrest.
n 2009, Ronald Thompson, a 65-year-old army veteran fired two shots into the ground to scare off teenagers who were demanding entry into his friend's house in Keystone Heights, Florida. Corey prosecuted Thompson for aggravated assault, and after he refused a plea agreement with a three-year prison sentence, won a conviction that would carry a mandatory 20-year sentence under Florida's 10-20-Life statute.
Then... In a similar case, Fourth Circuit Judge James Harrison called a mandatory minimum sentence "a crime in itself" and declared the 10-20-Life statute unconstitutional. Judge Skinner gave Thompson three years instead.
So what did Corey do? She appealed the 3-year sentence and won, sending Thompson to prison for 20 years.
TWENTY YEARS for firing two shots into dirt to scare off CRIMINALS who were demanding entry into his friends' house.
I'm telling you, Corey should NOT have the job she has. Sure, she's scored some legitimate convictions, including against Michael Dunn. However, she continually claims she fights and supports "the victims," while simultaneously CREATING victims of her own unabashed and GROSS misapplication of justice.
A judge is the body of the hydra. Without the body no heads can regrow. Holding judges civilly accountable would go a long way in refocusing LE's attention on peace officer duties vs. revenue collectors...while pretending to be GI Joe.
