No Davegran this time? Or Springfield, Gollbladder, Parabellum?
Just a little fun fact, the word "Parabellum" is Latin. It was a "Nick-name" for the 9mm Luger roundInvented in1908 for the German 9mmP.08 Lugar by Georg Luger. Parabullem means-"If youwish for Peace, prepare for war"... Kinda cool I thought.

Are we going to have the potluck/picnic at the park that we tried to meet at the first time?

I have a 2X vest I got by mistake which I would be glad to let you have.

Since you are new to open carry,Todd, it would be a good idea to get with one of the experienced people that will be at this event and learn the do's and don't's and safety considerations that we all observe. Make sure that you are totally familiar with the "manual of arms" of your weapon, so you are comfortable loading and unloading safely and know all about any safeties or decockers on the pistol. You'll notice that "safety" comes up a lot with us.

By the way everybody, it's going to be cold Saturday morning after the hard frost of the night before, so just a reminder that whatever clothing you wear, make sure that it doesn't cover your weapon under any circumstances.

I can bring some brats and buns if anyone else is down for a cook out. That park should work out fine as far as I know.

Had a great time - it was nice to meet you guys. You can count me in for future events. Too bad I got there a little late and missed the group picture :p

I'm sure there will be more events next spring, and perhaps we can adopt more stretches of road in different places to have more events :)
