The Book of Eli

The Book of Eli ... Fight scenes, and a surprise ending that changes how you look at the ENTIRE movie. IMHO, the plot line and flow work fine without the key element that is released near the end, but once you get that tidbit, you go "Oh. Ooooohhhhhh. Now it makes even more sense......"

Black Lagoon

I am not really into anime, but there is a very gunny series out there called Black Lagoon I think a lot of you might like. Serious gun porn, especially the twin custom Beretta 92FSes wielded by one of the heroines.

The series is ludicrously violent, foul-mouthed, and probably breaks every gun safety rule in the book, but, hey it's entertainment:

There are several discussions about firearms, including one about which firearm Jesus would own. "A Jericho 941," says one character, while another calls it a "limp-dick gun," which made me say "well I never" as I have one and like it quite a bit.

Lots of fun, this series.

The family watched Book of Eli last wednesday. It was an fantastic movie. Certainly illustrates how grace can be given by god in many different ways. I loved it and will purchase it on Blu-ray shortly.

p.s. Kick-Ass was awesome, Hit Girl made the movie. That chick can fly!

saw a movie some years back, where the good guys were battling some alien down in the sewer. after they went at it, the one guy turns to the other and says; we need big guns, much bigger guns! that one always cracked me up. love those so so movies with great one liners!

there was another movie, can't remember the name, where a bunch of guys are getting a lecture, and one of them raises his hand and asks: when do we get the guns? that one still makes me laugh.

3 Kings had a good one liner too; are we shooting today? he has a gun!

Lot of interest

I would be glad to have you do a weekly segment on OCDO and the great work that our members are doing across the country! Maybe you could feature a different state or event each week. There are so many civil rights heroes on here that it would take years to properly catalog the work they have done!

Let me know what I can do to help!

Had a lot of interest in the site Tuesday during the Radio show. hope this works out for OCDC and the station.

I will have to nominate Serenity. Lots of guns and OC. Better yet(though not a movie) you can buy the whole series it's based on(Firefly) at Wally World for like $20.00. In a word ....Shiny

Great series. Wish it was never canceled.

I always loved the captain because if you started making threats he would just shoot your ass, without saying a damn thing. He'd just quick draw and waist you, even if you were unarmed and handcuffed. (and yes he was a good guy!) Firefly

Another favorite of mine was FarScape.

I'm currently rewatching Picket Fences on Hulu. The first two seasons are available.

FarScape rocked, also many years ago Fox had a series called "Above and Beyond" which is still a great show.
