I have been to Mammoth Cave once and I didn't open carry, and I saw no one else open carrying. I do know that open carrying in parks is legal, but is it legal to open carry at Mammoth Cave?

I don't want to appear to be a dumbass, that's why I'm asking on here, and not stuttering and stammering in front of a park ranger. :p

Does this "prohibition" carry any weight of law? I know in the thread on Land Between the Lakes there is specific mention to it in a KRS but I can't find anything saying Mammoth cave is prohibited by law.

Are the cave entrances accessed through National Park buildings? (It's been a spell since my last visit, don't recall that detail.) If so that would preclude carry.
