Does your juvenile record effect you when buying a gun?
As in if you were convected as a felon at age 14 will that stop you from being able to own a gun?
Yes, it's supposed to affect your ability to legally buy a firearm or ammunition, as in you don't have it.
Here's a PDF of the 4473 form:
http://www.atf.gov/files/forms/download/atf-f-4473-1.pdf
Quesiton 11c:
"Have you ever been convicted in any court of a felony, or any other crime, for which the judge could have imprisoned you for more than one year, even if you received a shorter sentence including probation?"
So a juvenile conviction counts, and if you had such a conviction you are a prohibited person unless your RKBA (and vote, and be on a jury, and hold public office) has specifically been restored.
Sounds like maybe you slipped through the cracks?
Better sell the gun before you're caught with it.
