New Hanover County concealed carry

Turned in paperwork April 7. Still waiting. I have been told I have been approved, but waiting for paperwork to come back from Raleigh. Could be any day. Then still has to go to the sheriff for signing. Over one hundred days now and still counting. Sucks.

They are required, by law, to give you your permit by day 90. I'd be going in and raising hell since you've passed the 90 day mark. They HAVE to give it to you now.

Contact the folks at GRNC and tell them your situation. They can usually remedy these "slow-downs" with a single email or phone call.They have a member on this forum. Send a PM to senojkj to get the ball rolling...

Nothing like a serious threat of legal action from the biggest gun-rights group inthe state to get these foot-dragging bureaucrats to "hop to!"
