If such a deprivation of Liberty (in this case, privacy) serves a legitimate governmental process, then make it part off the sentencing, so that a judge may weigh the unique facts off the case to determine whether registry is reasonable—and for how long.

This should be the case for all automatic deprivations of Rights following due process (sexual offender registries, loss of voting privileges, loss of the RKBA, etc.) Lifelong, automatic penalties that consider neither the individual nor the facts of the case should not be how a Free Society operates.

And how long do you think it will take before somebody uses such a law to use it against somebody who raises and trains hunting dogs?

Almost immediately. Regulations will be promulgated that define how you can and cannot train you dogs. Violate those regulations, and you will find yourself on the registry.

Ohio is now trying to implement a registry of “violent criminals”.
